Christmas Ornaments Card

I love this die by Impression Obsession! These ornaments use more vintage color patterned paper by Authentique, and I've done some with traditional red and green. I'm mass-producing this style today.

Sympathy Card

I made this sympathy card for my friend who lost her mother. This embossing folder is versatile -- I had recently used it for a birthday card. I love the white on white on white elegance of the card.

The simple sentiment inside was perfect.

Turkey Card

I was reminded of the years in elementary school when we would trace our hands to draw turkeys. I think these ovals make a cuter turkey :)  I distressed the edges of the "feathers" and added googly eyes.

It's a 5x5 card and worth the extra 20¢ to mail this cute card!

Masculine Birthday Card

I made this card using Tim Holtz products -- Distress Ink and stamps for the background.

I love how it turned out!

Flowers in Window Box

I was inspired to create a window frame and window box to hold flowers. This card went with a flowering plant I gave as a housewarming gift.

I like the pink gingham roman shade and patterned flowers.

Gift Tags

Today I made a gift tag holder. The box is made from green card stock and I cut tags to fit the two sides. I added a cardstock handle and buttons with twine.

I included 15 gift tags -- it would hold more. I used three shapes and sizes and they are all unique.

I could do a less time-consuming version by using my Cricut and making one or two styles of tags.

Card and Gift Box

I made an 8x8x2" gift box. The first photo shows the inside of the lid and box; the second is the box with the lid on.

I then made a birthday card to match. I used solid purple and the same paper as the lid in a quilt pattern.

The white card base is 5-1/2" square. I added some small purple brads along the bottom and a banner for the sentiment.

Get Well

I sent this colorful and glittery card to a friend. Starting with a white card base, I incorporated her favorite color, mimicked bandages and added hearts. I used my Wink of Stella brush pen on the hearts. I do love that pen!

Grateful

I used a herringbone pattern again for the background. I wanted to use several of the Happy Harvest papers for the final day of "Happy Harvest Week."

A simple banner die with "grateful" stamped and embossed is added to the front on dimensionals.

Butterfly Wreath

I wanted to make a fall wreath with the cute Happy Harvest papers. I used butterfly die cuts from Memory Box -- Isabella Butterfly is the solid shape, and Pippi Butterfly is the open shape. I did some filling in with the bodies from the dies and some holly berries from a Christmas die set.

This deep red card is 5½" x 5½" and has layers upon layers. The photograph doesn't do it justice :)

Happy Thanksgiving!

More Happy Harvest paper from Doodlebug Designs. Difficult to decide which paper and which side to use.

A Martha Stewart punch, some brown ribbon and two gold brads. Super quick!

Happy Harvest Owls

There is turquoise in some of the Happy Harvest paper. It is beautiful with the browns, oranges and yellows. And with little owls on it.

I stamped leaves with VersaMark for the background. I used the Mini 8 (scallop), some twine and a button. Very quick and easy.

Fall Wreath

Doodlebug Designs' Happy Harvest paper has warm and vibrant colors. Today I used the "back" (plainer) side and some solid cardstock to make the wreath.

I used the clear Wink of Stella glitter brush on the "Family" stamp for just a little sparkle. And how cute is the gingham bow!

Just because...

I enjoy making cards for any occasion or no occasion. I'm ending RAK Week with hearts. A simple card -- uses two circle punches and one heart punch, Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder and a corner rounder. I used dimensionals under the panel, the circles and the hearts. The hearts were finished off with Glossy Accents.

So cute! And I have already dropped it in the mail this morning.

Since it's November, next week I'll be using Happy Harvest paper from Doodlebug Designs.
